Student Needs Analysis
The Advanced Studies course is the highest level of English instruction offered by the Community English Program. The curriculum varies from semester to semester and is instructor-generated based on student goals and interests. In order to develop a curriculum that matched students' needs and goals, a Needs Analysis was administered on the first day of class. This provided insight into the students' English learning backgrounds and interests and informed syllabus development.
